Queen of the Prairie (Filipendula rubra)

$5.00

If you have a wet area that is ripe for naturalization, Queen of the Prairie will really make that area pop. It is tall, it is beautiful, and it will spread vigorously in an optimal environment. The pink flowers provide pollen for insect visitors, thus various species of bees collect pollen from the flowers and probably are the most important pollinators (illinoiswildflower.info). Deer do not seem to bother it.
